About NIT Meghalaya
NIT Meghalaya has been functioning since 2010 in its temporary campus located in Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. The permanent campus however is being set-up at Sohra (Cherrapunji). The campus is getting equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructures where all the necessary modern amenities and at the same time maintaining harmony with the serene environment of Sohra will be the prime prerogative. Since inception the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been functioning with a good numbers of very dedicated faculty members. The department offers B. Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes. The major objective is to impart high quality technical education backup with a strong foundation of research in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The expertise of the faculty includes VLSI Systems, High Performance Computing, Signal Processing, Communications, RF & Microwaves Engineering and Microelectronics & MEMS.
Shillong is the only hill station in the country that is accessible from all sides. The name Shillong is derived from U-Shyllong, a powerful deity and is situated at an altitude of 1496 m above sea level with attractions like Lady Hydari Park, Ward's Lake, Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, Spread Eagle Falls, Sweet Falls, Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Capt. Williamson Sangma State Museum.

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Meghalaya is organizing an 2nd International Conference on Innovations in Electronics, Signal Processing and Communication (IESC 2019) during March 01-02, 2019, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Kolkata Section. Original, unpublished research papers are solicited from industrial and academic researchers on the topics listed above for peer review and possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore and conference proceedings.
Details about the template for paper shall be as per the IEEE format provided in the conference website. The same could be downloaded from the IEEE website from the link: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html Also the author shall submit an undertaking that the paper submitted is the original work of the author(s) and the paper is not submitted or published in any of the conferences/journals.
It is mandatory for one of the authors to register in advance and present the paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings/CD/ieee xplorer. The authors of accepted papers deemed to have transferred the copyright permission to NIT Meghalaya for publishing the paper.
